
Multi-talented Mike Doyle hosts the Sunday Morning Chill out show on Bay Radio.
Mike is an award winning comic who leaves his audiences spellbound after his many appearances all over the world. He has also appeared in ‘high profile’ pantomimes every year. Mike made his first television debut by winning BBC's "Opportunity Knocks". He made such an impression that he was invited back to make a special guest appearance the following year.
In 1989 he made his first professional television debut on the "Children's Royal Variety Show". He also made his pantomime debut in "Mother Goose." Then In 1990 he received the first ever award for "Stage Comedy Newcomer of the Year" at the British Comedy Awards.
In 1991 Mike was invited to appear on the "Royal Variety Show". His first network series for the BBC "Something for the Weekend", and his own series for HTV "The Mike Doyle Show". He has also appeared as a guest on many top television series including "Celebrity Squares", and "Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game". He has starred as `Wishy-washy` in "Aladdin" in the New Theatre, Cardiff and then went on to play `Wishy-washy` in 1992/1993 at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield.
Since then Mike has performed in his own cabaret spot on board luxury cruise liners which has taken him all around the world and gained him massive support from his new-found fans. Mike also released his first album called "Every Word". In 1999 and 2000 Mike recorded two St. David's Day television specials, 'Mike Doyle and Friends', for HTV.
Mike Doyle is famous as the voice of Trevor in the Trade Centre Wales advert which is broadcast on Bay Radio and radio and television across Wales. |
